OKAVANGO DELTA

Setari Camp

Tucked deep within the main ‘artery’ of the Okavango on a picture-perfect palm island you will find Setari Camp. Setari Camp is Setswana for ‘Tree’ and has been lovingly designed to integrate the giant riverine forest and palms trees which dominate the island.

Children 6 years and older are welcome.

To get to Setari you will need to fly from Maun by charter flight for 25 minutes.

This camp is surrounded by water all year round.

8 double tented suites and 1 tented family suite are built high in the trees overlooking the floodplain beyond. They have been stylishly furnished and all have en-suite bathrooms with outside shower and freestanding bath. The tents are elegantly furnished with comfort in mind and each have extra length beds, super-sized mosquito net, desk, sofa, fan, lights and handy plug points.

All tents have private decks which each enjoy spectacular views over the Delta. The Family tent accommodates families of up to 4 in 2 adjoining tents, each with its own bathroom and outside shower. There is also large decked area for private dinners in between the family tents.
Winding walkways, high above the ground, interlink the tents, dining/sitting room, pool and gym, creating a massive tree-house from which to marvel at the panoramic views over the crystal-clear channels and papyrus beds beyond.

Our swimming pool, gym and large, airy dining and seating area all have spectacular views over the surrounding wilderness.

Fishing
The fishing at Setari is amazing and the Barbel run between August and end of October makes for an exhilarating sport for the keen fisherman with Tiger fish in abundance.
