Island Safari Lodge is a riverside lodge and campsite located on a spacious private reserve along the Thamalakane River, just outside Maun. The property offers a tranquil bush setting with plenty of shade from mature trees and lovely views over the river and surrounding floodplain. Guests can enjoy meals and drinks at the on-site restaurant and bar overlooking the river, while walking trails through the grounds provide opportunities to explore the property. The lodge can also assist with arranging activities such as boat trips and bird-watching excursions. The river is only in flow after heavy rains or the annual floods.
