Nkuhlu Tented Camp is located in the southern region of Kruger National Park, roughly midway between Skukuza and Lower Sabie Rest Camps along the H4‑1 road. It sits on the banks of the Sabie River, offering some tents direct river views. The camp is unfenced, giving a more immersive wilderness experience.

The seven luxury tents at Nkuhlu Tented Camp offer an intimate and immersive safari experience, blending comfort with the raw beauty of the Kruger bush.

Each tent is designed to accommodate two adults in either a double or twin bed configuration, with some units including a sleeper couch suitable for one child aged 12–16.

The camp is unfenced, so children under 12 are not permitted for safety reasons.

Five of the tents boast spectacular views over the Sabie River, where guests can watch elephants, hippos, and other wildlife from their private decks, while the remaining tents are nestled within the surrounding bushveld, providing a more secluded and tranquil setting.

All tents feature a well-equipped kitchenette with a fridge, gas hob, and some with microwaves, as well as a private outdoor patio with a gas braai – perfect for enjoying meals under the stars.

The en-suite bathrooms come with showers and are comfortably appointed, while the camp’s reliance on solar power and gas enhances its off-grid charm.

The design combines rustic elegance with practical amenities, allowing guests to fall asleep to the sounds of the bush and wake up surrounded by nature, all without sacrificing modern comfort.
