Chobe National Park

Situated in the Northern most part of Botswana, and home to the largest populations of elephants, this is a place not to be left off your itinerary.

The Chobe National Park stretches from the Chobe River in the North to the Khwai River is the South and the Savute swamp region.

Game viewing is phenomenal and cruising on the Chobe River is a unique experience and a must do.

There are all sorts of accommodation on offer, camping, self catering, and luxury lodges.

Activities usually are game drives and a river cruise on the Chobe River.

The birding is phenomenal from November to April. Here you will see all the migratory birds.

The seasons are divided up into the wet and dry season. The wet season starts from October to April while the dry season starts from May to September.

Getting around is easy, you can either choose to drive yourself around, if this is the case, a 4x4 is necessary, or you can fly into one of the airstrips. Kasane is the gateway to the Chobe National Park.
