Driving to Kasanka National Park from Lusaka will take you roughly 7 hours to drive. The road is all tar right up to the main entrance of the park.
Flying is also possible which takes 1 and a half hours.
Kasanka National Park is one of the smallest and least known parks in Zambia.
Once a year in October the fruit bat migration takes place. Millions of fruit bats cover the sky in the early morning and late afternoon into the evening.
The bird life has over 330 species.
