Lake Manyara

One and a half hour drive from Arusha you find yourself engulfed in this amazing landscape. With over 400 bird species.

The flamingoes arrive in their hundreds from November to April.
Pelicans and Yellow Billed Storks scourer the lake for food.

When to visit:
It all depends on what you are looking for, it is an all year round place to visit, but if there is something specific you would like to see, then have a look at the below:

January to March: best for birding, pelicans, flamingoes, and all the migratory birds are around.

April: This is still the rainy season. It is wet with moderate temperatures.

July to August: This is the best time for game viewing, all the animals congregate around the lake.
