Linyanti lies north of Savuti in the corner of the Chobe National Park. The Linyanti River is lined with papyrus reeds, extensive reed banks and tall ravine forests. The river forms a swamp area, similar to that of the Okavango Delta. Linyanti is untouched due to its location.
The wildlife is amazing here, huge herds of elephants, wild dogs, lions can often be seen. Due to the forestry type of vegetation the birding will not disappoint you. During the rainy season from November to March the Carmine Bee-eaters migrate to this area in their thousands.
To get to Linyanti you can either fly into the lodges or you can do a self-drive with a 4x4, due to the road conditions and time of year some of the roads are inaccessible.
