Nata is a perfect stopover and is situated at the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pan. Filling stations, shops is all you need to replenish your goods.

Nata Bird Sanctuary is a must see, it is community run and one can expect to see the flamingos in their hundreds but only at certain times of the year.

A guided tour onto the Sowa Pan is a must.
