Queen Elizabeth National Park

Situated Southwest of Kampala, roughly 400km away, making it a 6 hour drive.

Home to over 600 bird species, primates and much more, the ecosystem ranges from grassland, lakes and forests.

You can also witness the tree climbing lions.

Should you wish to do a chimpanzee trek it is better to do this during the dry season from April to July.

There are two rainy seasons, the first from March to May and the second from August to December. During this time you will see many bird species, however the bush is thick and viewing animals becomes more challenging.

Boating is a must whilst you visit the park, you will see elephants, hippos and many water birds.
