Later in the afternoon, depart on your first game drive through Samburu National Reserve. Return to camp as evening falls, where dinner will be served, followed by another peaceful night surrounded by the wilderness of Samburu.

Follow the Ewaso Nyiro River and explore the surrounding dry savannah and acacia country in search of elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah and African wild dog, along with the Samburu Special Five. Every game drive offers something different, from large elephant herds gathering near the river to giraffe browsing among the acacias and gerenuk standing on their hind legs to reach higher branches.

Return to Larsens Camp for lunch and some time at leisure. Relax beside the pool, enjoy the river views from camp or simply watch for wildlife moving through the surrounding bush.

Later, head out on your afternoon game drive as the heat of the day begins to fade. Stop to enjoy the changing colours of the Samburu landscape before returning to camp for dinner and another evening beneath the African skies.

After breakfast, enjoy a more leisurely day at Soroi Larsens Camp, taking time to appreciate its beautiful setting along the Ewaso Nyiro River. After several days exploring Samburu National Reserve, today offers the opportunity to slow the pace and enjoy the camp itself while still experiencing the wildlife and atmosphere of northern Kenya.
