Sossus Oasis Private Camp is a highly popular and well-positioned campsite located just outside the entrance to the Namib-Naukluft National Park at Sesriem, making it one of the most convenient bases for exploring Sossusvlei.

The campsite consists of individually spaced, shaded stands that offer a good balance between comfort and desert immersion. Each site is fully equipped with a private bathroom (shower, toilet, basin), electricity points, shaded seating area, braai facilities, and a small kitchen wash-up area. A standout feature is the raised rooftop terrace, which allows guests to enjoy uninterrupted views of the desert, especially at sunrise and sunset. At the centre of the campsite is a communal swimming pool, perfect for cooling off after a hot day in the dunes. Guests also have access to a nearby shop and fuel station at the Sossus Oasis service area, which is very useful for stocking up on essentials.
