Starting with a relaxing overnight stay at Daan Viljoen Camping, the adventure continues into the vast Kalahari at Kalahari Anib Lodge before heading to the iconic desert scenery of Sossus Oasis Private Camp near Sossusvlei. After exploring the towering dunes and desert landscapes, you will make your way to Swakopmund for a coastal break at Windpomp 14, followed by a night under the stars at the remarkable Spitzkoppe Tented Camp and Campsite. The journey then takes you to the rugged beauty of Brandberg White Lady Lodge and onward to the remote wilderness of Hobatere Roadside Campsite, where wildlife encounters become part of daily life. A three-night stay at Etosha Trading Post offers the perfect base for game drives and unforgettable safari experiences in and around Etosha National Park. Day-to-Day Program

Your car rental company will meet you at the airport and transfer you to their depot, where you will collect your fully equipped rental vehicle, ready for the journey ahead.

Spend your first night just outside Windhoek at Daan Viljoen Game Reserve. This relaxed start gives you time to settle in and stock up on all the necessary food and supplies for your trip, without the pressure of rushing between stops.

After a relaxed morning, depart the Windhoek area and travel south into the vast red landscapes of the Kalahari. The drive is an easy and scenic introduction to Namibia’s wide open spaces, with long stretches of road, scattered camelthorn trees, and occasional wildlife sightings along the way.

Arrive at Kalahari Anib Lodge in the afternoon and take some time to settle in and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings.

Later in the day, embark on a guided sundowner drive, where you’ll explore the Kalahari’s unique ecosystem while spotting wildlife adapted to this arid environment. As the sun sets over the red dunes, enjoy a refreshing drink in a truly iconic desert setting — the perfect way to end your first day in the wilderness.

After breakfast, depart the Namib Desert and travel north-west toward the coast. Today’s journey is one of Namibia’s most scenic, taking you through the striking landscapes of the Namib-Naukluft National Park, including the dramatic Gaub and Kuiseb canyons.

As you approach the coast, the desert meets the Atlantic Ocean, bringing a refreshing change in scenery and climate. Arrive in the charming coastal town of Swakopmund in the afternoon.

Early this morning, you will be collected from your campsite for a guided 4x4 excursion to the spectacular Sandwich Harbour, located within the Namib-Naukluft National Park.

This morning adventure takes you along the dramatic edge where towering sand dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean. Travel through ever-shifting dune landscapes, enjoy scenic viewpoints, and experience thrilling dune driving with your expert guide.

Sandwich Harbour is one of Namibia’s most iconic coastal wilderness areas, offering incredible photography opportunities and a unique blend of desert and marine scenery.

Return to Swakopmund by early afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

This morning, enjoy one of Swakopmund’s most unique guided experiences — the Living Desert Tour in the Namib Desert near Swakopmund. You will be picked up at your campsite

Join an expert desert guide for an interactive exploration of the “little five” of the Namib. Learn how life survives in one of the world’s oldest and driest deserts as you search for fascinating creatures such as geckos, lizards, snakes, scorpions, and insects, all perfectly adapted to this harsh environment.

Along the way, your guide will also share insights into desert survival techniques and the delicate ecosystem that makes this region so extraordinary. Light lunch and refreshments included.

After the tour you will be dropped off at your campsite.

After breakfast, depart the coastal town of Swakopmund and journey inland into the rugged heart of Namibia’s Damaraland region. The drive takes you through vast open plains and changing desert landscapes, offering a true sense of space and solitude as you leave the Atlantic coast behind.

Arrive at Spitzkoppe, one of Namibia’s most iconic granite mountain formations, often referred to as the “Matterhorn of Namibia.” Settle into your stay at the Spitzkoppe tented camp and campsite, surrounded by dramatic rock formations and ancient landscapes.

After breakfast, depart Brandberg White Lady Lodge and continue north through the rugged and remote landscapes of Damaraland. The journey takes you through ever-changing desert scenery, dry riverbeds, and vast open plains, offering a true sense of wilderness and solitude.

Arrive in the late afternoon at Hobatere Roadside Campsite, located on the western boundary of Etosha National Park. This area is known for its quiet, uncrowded atmosphere and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities in a more private setting.

Settle into camp and enjoy a relaxed evening in the bush. As the sun sets, keep an eye out for wildlife that may pass through the area, including giraffe, zebra, and various antelope species, before enjoying dinner under the African night sky.

Spend a full day at Hobatere Roadside Campsite, located on the western edge of Etosha National Park. This remote area offers a more intimate and less crowded safari experience, with excellent opportunities to enjoy Namibia’s wildlife in a natural, undisturbed setting.

The day is at leisure, with time to relax at camp or head out on optional game viewing activities in the surrounding conservancy. Expect sightings of plains game such as giraffe, zebra, kudu, and oryx, as well as possible predator encounters including lion or hyena in the wider Etosha ecosystem.

As the day winds down, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the bush and a classic Namibian sunset before returning to camp for dinner and a night under the stars.

After an early breakfast, depart Hobatere Roadside Campsite and continue east towards the world-renowned Etosha National Park.

Enter the park and enjoy a scenic drive en route to your accommodation at Etosha Trading Post. The journey through Etosha offers excellent game viewing opportunities along the way, with chances to spot elephants, giraffe, zebra, and a variety of antelope species at waterholes.

Arrive at Etosha Trading Post in the afternoon and settle in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure

After breakfast, depart Etosha Trading Post and begin your journey south towards the striking landscapes of the Waterberg region. The drive takes you through rural Namibia, passing farmland, small settlements, and open savannah as you make your way towards the high sandstone plateau.

Arrive at Waterberg Anderson Camp in the afternoon and settle into your campsite surrounded by the dramatic red cliffs and lush vegetation of the Waterberg Plateau Park.
