You will then spend three nights at Onguma Forest Camp, located on the private Onguma Game Reserve bordering Etosha National Park. Surrounded by unspoiled wilderness and abundant wildlife, this guided safari offers exceptional game viewing, beautiful landscapes, and unforgettable moments in the bush. From exciting safari drives to peaceful evenings under the African sky, this journey is designed to immerse you in the beauty and wildlife of Namibia while travelling in comfort with your experienced guide.
Upon arrival in Namibia, you will be welcomed by the staff from Okapuka Safari Lodge and begin your safari adventure with a short drive to Okapuka Safari Lodge, situated just outside Windhoek. Set within a private game reserve, the lodge offers a peaceful introduction to the Namibian bush with beautiful open landscapes and a variety of wildlife roaming freely across the reserve.
Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge, enjoying the tranquil surroundings, or join an optional game drive to spot animals such as giraffe, zebra, antelope, and rhino. As the sun sets over the African bush, enjoy a delicious dinner and settle in for your first night under the Namibian sky.
After breakfast, you will continue your guided journey north towards the Etosha region, travelling through the changing landscapes of rural Namibia. Along the way, enjoy the scenic drive and experience the vast open spaces that make this country so unique.
Upon arrival at Onguma Forest Camp, located on the private Onguma Game Reserve bordering Etosha National Park, you will have time to settle into the peaceful bush surroundings. The camp is known for its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful natural setting, and excellent wildlife experiences. Spend the remainder of the day unwinding at the lodge or enjoying the sights and sounds of the African bush before dinner and your overnight stay.
Start the day with an early morning game drive as the bush comes alive with wildlife and birdlife. The cooler morning hours provide an excellent opportunity to explore the surrounding wilderness and search for animals before returning to the lodge for breakfast and some time to relax.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a sunset game drive on the Onguma private reserve. Explore the beautiful landscapes and diverse habitats while keeping an eye out for wildlife such as giraffe, antelope, zebra, and predators that roam the area. As the sun sets over the Namibian bush, take in the unforgettable colours of the African sky before returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Today is dedicated to exploring the incredible wildlife and landscapes of Etosha National Park. Depart early in the morning for a game drive through the park, where you will have the opportunity to search for a wide variety of wildlife gathering around the waterholes and open plains. Etosha is home to elephant, lion, giraffe, zebra, springbok, and many other fascinating species, making every safari experience unique.
Return to the lodge for some time to relax and enjoy lunch before heading back into Etosha in the afternoon for another exciting game drive. As the day cools down, wildlife activity often increases, providing excellent opportunities for memorable sightings and photography. After an unforgettable day in the bush, return to Onguma Forest Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Windhoek, travelling south through Namibia’s beautiful open landscapes. Along the way, enjoy a relaxed lunch at a local restaurant en route before continuing towards the capital.
Arrival in Windhoek is expected in the afternoon, with drop-off at the airport scheduled for approximately 15h00. From here, you will continue onward under your own arrangements, bringing your unforgettable Etosha Bush Escape guided tour to an end.
