Upon arrival at Desert Camp near Sesriem, you will have time to settle into your comfortable accommodation and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings. Located close to the entrance of Sossusvlei National Park, the camp is perfectly positioned for exploring the iconic dunes and desert landscapes of the region. Spend the remainder of the afternoon relaxing and taking in the beauty of the Namib Desert before dinner and your overnight stay.
An early start awaits this morning as you head out for an unforgettable hot air balloon safari over the magnificent Namib Desert. As the sun rises over the endless dunes and desert plains, enjoy breathtaking aerial views of one of the world’s oldest deserts — a truly unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of your journey.
After landing, enjoy a light breakfast in the desert before returning to the camp for some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. After breakfast, you will depart from Desert Camp and begin your journey back to Windhoek. Travel north through Namibia’s ever-changing desert landscapes, enjoying the vast open spaces and scenic beauty along the way.
A stop will be made en route for a relaxed lunch at a local restaurant, giving you time to stretch, unwind, and reflect on your desert adventure.
You will arrive in Windhoek in the afternoon, with drop-off scheduled at approximately 15h00. From here, you will continue with your onward arrangements, bringing your unforgettable Sossusvlei Skies & Sands – A Guided Tour to a close.
