Early this morning, you will set out on a fascinating Living Desert tour through the coastal dunes surrounding Swakopmund. Accompanied by an experienced guide, discover the hidden side of the Namib Desert and learn about the remarkable creatures that survive in this harsh yet beautiful environment.
The tour focuses on tracking and spotting the desert’s smaller wildlife, which may include geckos, chameleons, snakes, spiders, and other uniquely adapted desert species. Along the way, your guide will share interesting insights into the ecosystem, survival techniques, and natural history of the Namib Desert.
